Today I am standing in the shadows...
the sun is trying to shine down on me,
but all the little troubles of this day are blocking its warm rays.
Nothing major.
Just life.
It goes a little something like this:
not much sleep
sick children (as in plural)
cat with a yucked up eye
cat that won't get in her crate
missed vet appointment
fighting in high pitched whinny voices
no one likes the lunch I prepared
so, so tired
"to do" list so long I could get in my car and drive to the end of it
time out (for them, but I do so wish one for me)
pee in places in the girl's bathroom it should not be
the sugar high that was getting me through the day...just crashed
...and so it goes.
hang in there my friend... shadows are always there - it just depends on our perspective! And you have SUCH an incredible spirit... I doubt those shadows will stay around long! I say Yay to time-outs!! especially for mommies! :) Love you!
