Hey pumpkin...

It's fall...
did you know?
I got the tip from my pumpkins growing in my garden and the orange glow they were putting off.
I also got this tip on how to scar pumpkins...
well...I just had to try it.
And it works!
I used a ball point pen as suggested while the pumpkins were still green on the vine.
Let them heal while the get all nice and plump and orange.
The scar that grows over where you scratched the pumpkin will show your handy work.
Lovely.  Blessed.  Indeed.

  2. VERY cool trick! love it. wish i could intercept my pumpkins when they are still on the vine. but buying them from a giant cardboard box at the grocery store doesn't really let me do that. :)
