How fabulous to stumble upon a real "Valley Girl". I found you commenting at Dottie Angel, and what's more in Valley Girl speak. How wonderful. Last weekend on our very high brow Radio New Zealand National (kind of like our version of the BBC)there was a big discussion around valley Girl Speak and the upward inflection at the end of a sentance that makes it sound a bit like a question. Apparently we antipodeans do it too (we just don't notice because that's just how we talk!!!)They played a really funny Valley Girl sound track, which was taking the proverbial, but it made me laugh so much. Kiwi girls and valley Girls must be kindred spirits! Jacqui
What a laugh valley Girl. Talk about cultural misalignment or whatever! I think your blog is lovely, and dirt under your finger nails kind of valley is just fine with me LOL!
